now I wonder how it came by the name of root hole ?
There is some kind of legend from old that says that a million years or so ago Table Mountain was uprooted by some kind of tornado and dropped on the spot where you can find Cape Town nowadays…..
ah so this place must have been where it was plucked from 😉
