Potholes

We like to live rural surrounded by nice people and we don’t have to complain at all. But a rant towards the local municipality we have. Last week the parking spot of the municipal offices was tarred despite the excellent condition it was in and not so long ago a road was tarred which was also in an superb condition. But look at our street, the second busiest in the village, with some heavy trucks passing to and from the farms further down the road. It’s full of potholes. We don’t want our road to be tarred but well maintained and maybe, dear municipal manager, add a few road narrowings (cost less than tarring a parking lot of 300 sqm) which slows down some of the speedsters… Thanks.

  1. Good Grief! You know, we really take for granted all the simple things…like fairly decent roads for instance…thanks for sharing and reminding us that blessings come in far more shapes and sizes than we realize.
