lens, nikon, sony
In fact a second hand but hardly used: Sony 75-300 4.5 (Innerworks the same as similar Nikon lens)
Cool!! The bird has more colours than just black as you can tell by the feathers on the chest.
Great picture! Enjoy your lens 🙂 I have no experience with Sony glass. What do you like about it?
In fact it is a Zeiss lens. Zeiss manufactures lenses for Sony and Nikon. Another petty detail is the the processor in a Nikon is a Sony. I’m still discovering/exploring the lens but the first impression is that it by far exceeds the quality of the images in comparison with a a Sigma 70-300 lens with which I’ve been shooting before. 😀
Oh yeah, that it exceeds Sigma in quality doesn’t surprise me, except maybe for Sigma’s Sports line.
Ah, I didn’t know that, thanks for sharing 🙂
Cheers and happy Monday!
I’ve just got a new Sony 55-210 lens and only taken a few shots yet. Did you use a tripod at all for this shot?
I rarely use a tripod for outdoor shooting Maureen. 😀
Nor do I – thanks for that…
😀 😀 😀
Nice shot. I stopped a Sigma 70-300 for a Canon 70-300 and found immediate improvements. Looks like you made the right choice.
Beautiful – I love the ‘hidden’ colours in starlings.
