Not unusual in wine producing places in South Africa. In this case in Wellington/Paarl in the Western Cape.
How sad !! No one should sleep on the street !!! I know there are many people without a roof over their heads BUT IN THIS DAY AND AGE !!!!!
We are very selective in our choice of South African wines. There are (wine) farmers (good) and (wine) farmers that are a disgrace for every civilized nation (still paying their workers partly in wine or as they call it here ‘dop’ which is BTW prohibited in this country). We lived in the Robertson Wine Valley for 11 years. Of the around 50 or so wine cellars there are only a hand full that treat their staff respectfully and provide opportunities to uplift themselves.
That is a disgrace like there are soooooooooooooo many disgraces in this world ! All the world leaders are only thinking about nr 1 !! so sad !!
Really like the treatment given to this image
