This is a different aloe specie. The A. Greenii originates from Table Mountain in Cape Town except that they don’t grow there anymore (poaching). Besides aloes hybridize easily and there are many lookalikes. Ours is a genuine one (DNA-tested) and we multiply it by means of cuttings to keep it that way. What you are thinking of is the Aloe Vera which originates from North Africa. 😀
