And the winner is: …

The winning picture in the South African Photo Competition ‘Motion’ was shot at the start of the MTB-race during the Napier Patatfees in June. Voted for by South African photographers. No need to mention the name of the photographer 😉

  4. Oh ok, so its not much of an award then if it’s not open to many photographers. I personally don’t think much of the image, that’s why I was curious about the other entries and how it was chosen above others. Just my opinion.

    1. There are >1200 photographers in this group and for the subject ‘Motion’ more than half voted for this picture. There must be a reason for it. Although I was also surprised. 😉 but then the picture was shot freehand (1/6 sec) under difficult circumstances.
