        Maybe the are South African They were in the Blue Mts in New South Wales. I have photos and the plants were labeled.

      2. Curious what those labels say. One of our neighbors is growing Banksias and some of these look very much like Protea species. For sure is that Proteas originate from the area (Southern Western Cape, South Africa) I live in! 😉
