The Cape Town Water Crisis simply explained

While small towns in the Western Cape make use of their own local water resources from their own mountains (like in Bredasdorp); Cape Town does not use the enormous amount of water of their own Table Mountain.

    1. Mainly from a huge dam 100 km from the city plus a few smaller ones. Farmers are now donating (pumping) their water into these reservoirs. Plus that the city (10 yrs after the warning of ‘Water Affairs’ is now looking and partly implementing some alternatives …
