Online shop

Herman van Bon Photography

At last we succeeded in setting up an online shop.

Banking is expensive in South Africa. For a credit card machine one pays a monthly fortune and is only worthwhile with a huge turnover. Banking fees per credit card transaction exceeds 5% and that’s far above the global average. But there are always loopholes and we found one. No monthly fee and very modest transaction fees.

For the time being the shop focusses itself on the South African market but customers from abroad can always contact us. Bank transactions (EFT) within Europe are free.

At the moment we are still adding new items.

    Great idea.
I am able to click through to the final product picture, but not seeing any thumbnails along the way, only placeholders.

For future, and I do know they are expensive, PayPal is the payment method I, and many I know, look for,

    Good luck.

    1. Banking regulations in South Africa are different from those in most Western countries. PayPal in South Africa is limited. For customers outside South Africa: Use the contact page. EFT in the EU is free and Paypal enabled (unlimited). The courier expenses are however a bit higher … 😉
