In the preview (the lamps on both bottom and top were cut off) it looked like somebody’s hair, and I was wondering if you snug into someone’s shower and took a closeup of head (of somebody showering in the dark…) 😀

Absolutely not. Streetlights have that design and the ‘cut of’ is just the beam of the light (directed downward). It’s a 5 second long exposure (A 6.3 ISO 800) and the only thing I had to do was transform it from full colour into B&W.. 😉

I think you misunderstood me (or I wasn’t clear). In my reader of the sites I’m following the photos are never displayed in their full size but the tops and bottoms are cut off. As an example: If I look at someone’s photo of a horse I only see the rump, without head and neck, without legs. Therefore a photo might look completely abstract which in it full size is not at all.
You misunderstood me. With the preview I meant the way your photo is displayed in my reader (it may be different in yours, I’m not sure if there are options with wordpress). In the list it is either a small
