Why oh why?

A nature conservationist of Cape Nature from Cape Town asked me the other day why there are so many Blue Cranes in and around Napier.

Stupid question: Blue Cranes avoid urban areas.

So I answered him: “For the same reason we are living here.”

Nature conservationist: “??????”
