Load-shedding in the village

Since a few years South Africans experience virtually daily load-shedding. This means that there is nor electricity. It’s caused purely by mismanagement and corruption (including politicians). The ruling party ANC is at an enormous pressure to make an end to these power-cuts with the national elections coming up next year. In the meantime the trade in self charging bulbs is flourishing so we are not entirely without light.
