For your agenda

26-27 October: Baardskeerdersbos Art Route. You will find Yvonne at nr. 4 on the BBos Art Route map (previous house/workshop of Joshua Miles).

3 of my photos/photo-graphics are in the collection of the Baardskeerdersbos Art Gallery (nr. 5 on the map).

Two more weeks

The Baardskeerdersbos Art Route this weekend was a great success for all including me selling several images and imaginaries. Reason for owner Ivan Trollip of the Baardskeerdersbos Art Gallery to extend my exhibition with another two weeks. I genuinely am surprised and blessed with such a great interest in my work. Thank you very much!!!

In between I visited a few other resident artist and also took some snapshots along the way.

Once upon a time in the Overberg …

… is the title of one of my imaginaries on show during the Baardskeerdersbos Art Route this weekend. My work can be seen in the B’Bos Art Gallery. Besides imaginaries there are also some examples of landscape photography and my ‘Haiku Photo’s’. You are welcome. Open until 4 this afternoon.

The Heat is on

… is the title of one of my imaginaries today and tomorrow on display during the Baardskeerdersbos Art Route in Baardskeerdersbos, Western Cape, South Africa. At the B’Bos Art Gallery.

The imaginary is based on one of the giant gargoyles of sculptor Ulrich Riek from Napier.

Flabbergasted ….

I’m flabbergasted … Collected yesterday the framed prints in Cape Town. AWESOME to say it in FB-jargon. This weekend in the BBos Art Gallery in Baardskeerdersbos. All 18 of them.
Other work of Lynda Kropman, Ivan Michael Trollip, Mark Chapman and the resident artists of Baardskeerdersbos. This morning me and Ivan Michael Trollip installed my imaginaries, landscapes, a portrait and Haiku images. While Ivan  was doing the work I took the opportunity to make some snapshots.

And now it’s official

I’m participating in the Baardskeerdersbos Art Route. Twice yearly (Aurumn and Spring) this art event is organised by artists and an art gallery in this hamlet in the Overberg, Western Cape, South Africa. Gallery owner Ivan Trollip loves my quirky imaginaries and you will see quite a few of these next to some landscapes.

Dates: Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 October.

Prices vary from R 250.00 for small prints on high quality museum paper (Hahnemuller) to R 7000.00 for framed 90×60 cm images.

Closer to date more about this event.
