Seagull. Larus Dominicanus – The Cape Gull or Kelp Gull.
Occurs mainly along the coast of Southern Africa. This gull was ‘shot’ in Arniston in the Overberg region in the Western Cape, South Africa. The Overberg (150 kilometer East of Cape Town) is home for several hundreds of bird species and is sometimes also mentioned as the Bird Paradise of South Africa.
Calidris minuta. In Afrikaans this bird is called ‘Kleinstransloper’ which means ‘Little Beachwalker’. This bird occurs mainly in sand-flats along the coast of Southern Africa.
