Fresh out of the shell (Cape Wagtail)
It’s Winter but busy in our garden. Sunbirds (3 different species) warblers, mousebirds, starlings, pigeons and weavers, to name a few, moving around. In the grenadilla bush we have several bird species nesting every year. This time the Cape Wagtails are first to build their nest. Have a look.
The Cape Wagtail building a nest and a blooming sunflower in our garden. Later today more action in the nest building of the Cape Wagtails.
