It’s winter in South Africa but in this climate we have a year round floral abundance. A few flowers in our courtyard:
We’ve got three different sunbird species nestling in our gardens of which two in our courtyard.
The Double Collared Sunbird lives in our backyard (last picture).
The courtyard is home for the Malachite Sunbird and the Amethyst Sunbird; the latter loves the grenadilla.
