It’s Winter in South Africa. So my off-season picture gallery (38 pictures!!!) contains mainly Summer pictures of our village (including surrounding area) plus one of a dormant insect between the blindings of my studio which I shot this morning.
Autumn here in South Africa does not mean that the garden goes dormant as in large parts of the Northern Hemisphere. On the contrary; we enjoy a year-round floral display. Not a day without flowers in our garden although the number of plants flowering can differ, even from day to day.
See for yourself. Displayed is a selection of flowers during the months April and May.
