The National bird of South Africa is classified as vulnerable but people in the field (farmers, etc.) have the idea that the population of Blue Cranes in increasing again.

Reflection of a village

In small communities with families living there for generations, the church is the reflection of village life.

Elim in South Africa is a typical Moravian Mission Town and the windows of the church reflect very nicely the changes this village (population: plus-minus 2500) momentarily undergoes.

The next posting will show more of Elim.
