Beyond the chair …

This morning I shot shades of a chair from four different positions and in Photoshop I created five different blends (‘HDR-mergers’) and processed these individually with different brightness, detailing, coloring, gamma, etc.

Just for the sheer fun of it.

All thumbnails but is you click on it they enlarge.

Imaginary in the making

What you see here is the beginning and a small part of a new imaginary in which shades and the real objects/persons flow into a surreal landscape. This time I’ve got a clear picture in mind; no ‘play’ with objects but focussed on the end result. Still have to make some pictures with my favorite model and some objects under the right (natural) light conditions. But the concept is there. Once I’ve finished this one and others using the same concept I hope to exhibit the imaginaries somewhere in an art gallery. Anyone interested?

Experiment with shades 4: My Toes

Shades are a reflection in a way. Just a mini-serie of 4. See for yourself.

This last chapter is dedicated to the Toemailers Angela & Quillan who show us toes from around the globe including my wife’s and mine. Here is another one of my toes, shade included!
