Lucky snapshot. In nature these animals are usually very shy. Only in nature reserves with regular human presence it’s possible to photograph them in groups sitting upright.
This is a split second picture shot in the pure wild; the next second the Meerkat was gone.

The ‘Theewaterkloofdam’ is a gigantic natural water reservoir near Villiersdorp that supplies a significant part of Cape Town and surrounds. In the center of the Western part of this lake is an isle. Just a snapshot.
