Beauty of Life (37 pictures)

Not only in the holiday season but throughout the year every day is a holy-day for me. And no day is complete without enjoying the beauty of life be it my wife, a beautiful landscape, flowers, birds, animals or art. Co-incidentally today is the opening of the exhibition ‘Angels, Demons and Gargoyles’ in Wellington, South Africa in which I participate with artists of name and fame. It’s an honor and it should be a nice start of the Festive Season in South Africa. The exhibition ends mid-January of 2017 at the end of the South African holiday season.

Busy weeks ahead

Busy weeks ahead. To start with: preparing 2 exhibitions; first one ‘Angels & Demons’ in Breytenbach Gallery in Wellington from 26 November to mid-January 2017 and after that in Cape Palette in George. And then I just got involved in the decoration of a house in Hermanus with some of my Overberg landscapes; printed on high quality archival museum medium and in sizes 90×60 and 120x80cm. All framed!!! BTW the landscapes sold are not the ones published here.

Can you see and count?

There are many hidden faces/heads (animals, humans and creatures alike) in this imaginary.

The sculpture of the rabbit is made by Ulrich Riek from Napier, Western Cape, South Africa.

From 26 November to mid January 2017 more of my work exhibited in Breytenbach Gallery in Wellington (‘Angels & Demons’). Late January/beginning February exhibition in Cape Palette in George.

On the Road

The exhibition of my work recently in Baardskeerdersbos (which was extended) has a great spin-off. From 26 November to the beginning of 2017 my work (Haiku Photography and Gargoyles) will be exhibited in the Breytenbach Art Gallery in Wellington; one of the most fore-standing art galleries in the Western Cape, South Africa.

For next year I received several enquiries and I still have to make a selection (some galleries ask a commission of 50 to 70% and that is out of the question). Guess that at the end  there will be around 4 more exhibitions of my work in 2017. And that is more than enough. 😉
